32° East | Ugandan Arts Trust
32° East | Ugandan Arts Trust is a centre for the creation and exploration of contemporary Ugandan and East African art. From 2011-2016, I worked with a team to think through, and set up the space.
Based in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, the centre provides artists with: studio space; residences; workshops; and artist-led public art projects.
32° East is now directed by Teesa Bahana and continues its evolving, ongoing process. By working with many partners 32° East continually updates and assesses what it does, in order to contribute to Kampala’s dynamic and changing contemporary art scene.
A good way to see the organisations’ latest activities is through their Vimeo Page and Facebook Page
